1. How is Ms. Katie reachable during the day? Ms. Katie prefers that parents text her during the day as her primary focus is on all of the children under her care and not on her phone.
2. Are staff trained in infant and child CPR/ First Aid/AED? Yes. Ms. Katie is trained in infant and child CPR/ first Aid/AED
3. How many providers does Katies Wonderful World have? Katies Wonderful World only has 1 provider and that is Ms. Katie
4.How many children does Ms. Katie plans on watching at a time? Ms Katie plans on watching between 1 to 3 children daily
5. Will my child be on his daily schedule? Here at Katies Wonderful World, Ms. Katie creates a daily schedule that works with the needs of all children in attendance in mind.
6. What is the theme for the sleep room? The theme in the sleep area is Animal Kingdom. This is why there are so many animal posters and stickers in the room.
7. What is the theme of the play room? The theme of the play room is Magic Kingdom. Mickey and his friends welcome your little one in a play zone designed especially for infants and toddlers but up to age 5 years old.
8. Is the outdoor play area fenced in or is it an open yard? The outdoor play area is completely fenced in. The kids mostly play on patio or on grass near patio while in back yard
9. When your outside with the children, what do you do? During outside play times, the children play with sand box, water table, ride on toys, bubbles and we go for stroller rides around the neighborhood.
10. Do you take the children to either of two local county playgrounds? No. there is enough that can stimulate your childs curiosity to play and learn here onsite.
11.What happens with outside time on IN climate weather days? On days when the weather isn't good, the children and Ms. Katie stay inside and do extra activities to fill the outside time slots.
12. How does my infant go in a stroller during outside time? Your infant will be in a rear facing infant carseat that attaches to a baby jogger brand stroller
13. Where does Ms. Katie take my child on their outdoor stroller rides? Ms. Katie will walk around the two cul-de-sac and go up and walk a little farther and then come back How will I know what my child did for his or her day?During each day, Ms. Katie fills out daily care forms for all of the children. At pickup, parents receive these daily care forms so that you can see what your child ate, played with and how long he or she slept during the day
14. Is it possible to get pictures of my precious son or daughter enjoying their day? Yes. Ms. Katie can take pictures of your child enjoying their day and send them to you.

16. What if I would like to enroll my child but KWW doesn't have space available? finding the right childcare arrangement can be a lengthy process. I recommend starting your childcare search early on. I will add you to our wait list and you will be offered a space as soon as one becomes available
17. Are the children separated in rooms based on their age group?Your child will be in a mixed age group. I can not guarantee that there will be other children his or her age but I do try to keep the children close in age so they can learn and grow up together
18. What is the Enrollment Policy here at Katies Wonderful World? To start your enrollment process, first email Ms. Katie at [email protected] to schedule your tour. Please use the subject TOURS. During your tour, you will get to meet Ms. Katie, See they arrangement and discuss this opportunity and your families needs with provider. Please try to plan to be at the tour for about an hour.
After you come for your tour, there are several forms that need to be filled out and completed. It is required that all children go to their pediatrician for an physical before being able to start and the required forms are completely filled out and submitted to Katies Wonderful World.
There is an registration fee of $ 100 to hold your child's spot for families that aren't quite ready to start yet. This payment goes towards your child's first weeks tuition payment.

20. When are weekly tuition payments due?Weekly tuition payments are due at the beginning of the day on Mondays
21. How many children are in attendance at a time? Ms. Katie only watches between 1 to 3 children at any time and never goes over her ratio
22 What is Full Time Care? Full Time care is care 5 days per week, Monday through Friday
23. What is considered Part Time Care? For part time care, your child can come 3 or 4 days per week
24.What is the youngest age a baby can come to Katies Wonderful World? The youngest a baby can come is 6 weeks of age
25 What is the oldest child to stay in Katies Wonderful World? 5 years of age
26 Will my child have his or her own crib or cot? Yes all children are assigned to their own crib or cot while attending Katies Wonderful World. There will be a name tag above crib or cot with your childs name on it
27 My infant doesn't like napping in a crib. I have the hardest time getting him to sleep in it. Can a swing or infant car seat be used instead? No. Ms. Katie does not allow an infant to nap in an infant swing or car seat (unless fall asleep on walks). To help your infant fall asleep Ms. Katie will rock your infant in a rocking chair and if that doesn't work she will use swing. Once your infant falls asleep she will transfer infant to his or her crib for nap time
28.During nap time/ quiet times, what type of music is played? During selected nap/ quiet times, Ms. Katie puts on spa themed relaxation music that is calming
29.What will be in my infants crib with my infant? When your infant is taking his or her nap in their crib, only your infant ( in a properly fitted sleep sack, provided by KWW), A pacifier and a lovey are all that's allowed inside the crib.
30.My child sleeps with a blanket at home, is it ok for him or her to have one in their crib? Unfortunately no. Here at Katies Wonderful World we don't allow blankets or toys in your childs crib
31.How will my infant stay warm during nap time since blankets are prohibited from being in cribs? Ms. Katie has sleep sacks that come in various sizes to accommodate your growing child. Sleep sacks are used to replace blankets in cribs
32.Since KWW provides crib or cot bedding, how often is it washed? Crib and cot bedding which is provided by Katies Wonderful World is replaced with fresh crib sheets nightly and is washed nightly or every other night depending on wash size.
33 Do Parents need to supply sleepsacks for infants? No. Katies Wonderful World has plenty of sleep sacks of various sizes and materials. cotton ones for spring and summer and fleece for fall and winter
34. How many naps per day will my child have? Depending on the age of your child, he or she will have one or two naps or more per day.
35. What happens during nap time, when my child doesn't want to sleep? If your child isn't tired during nap times, he or she will have quiet time. For children over 2 years old, this means they will stay on cot and look at stories.
36. Do parents need to supply burp cloths and bibs for infants? NO. Katies Wonderful World has plenty bibs and burp cloths for both boys and girls. If you wish to use your own, you may provide them as part of your childs labeled items that are brought from home as long as they fit into your childs cubbie box along with diapers
37. For diapers how many is recommended to be in the box for my infant? I recommend having at least 1 sleeve of diapers or 1 box. I will find storage space for the box
38. Will Ms. Katie help with potty training my child? Yes! Ms. Katie will help potty train your child as long as the child is over 2 years old.
39. Do I need to leave an infant car seat to be used for stroller rides for my infant? NO. Katies Wonderful World has infant car seats that fit on the Baby Jogger strollers that KWW own
40.What is the oldest a child can be at Katies Wonderful World? Usually children around 5 years
41.Is Katies Wonderful World open year round? Yes! Katies Wonderful World is open year round. Ms. Katie does go away on vacations or needs to take personal leave. During these times, parents are required to take their child to their backup provider.
42. Are meals provided for the children? No. Katies Wonderful World does not provide meals for the children. The main reason is children can develop food allergies at a young age and I always like to err on the side of caution therefor require parents to pack their child's meals. At Breakfast, Lunch and snack times, each child gets his or her own meals brought from home and never share food.
